These viscometers work with a temperature control device to maintain a constant temperature in the sample. The multifunction viscosity measurement system is made of a small sample adapter (SSR), cylindrical sample sleeve and SC4 spindle structure and can produce accurate shear rate measurement. The sample amount only needs to be 2 to 16 ml. The small sample tube is placed inside the temperature control unit to control the temperature. Due to the small sample size the temperature control is highly accurate. This also decreases the time required to attain the correct temperature.
When testing the viscosity of samples precise control of the temperature will help to ensure the accuracy of results. The temperature controller has an automatic temperature control program. This can achieve temperature accuracy of ±0.1℃. This is controlled by the BGD – T1 viscosity curve software.
